This is another local gem that seafood lovers would enjoy. Excellent view of the marsh paired with some awesome food. The seafood chowder was excellent and grits were great. My wife had the shrimp and grits and I will tell ya...no complaints. I had the Polynesian chicken and it does not disappoint. If your in the Garden city area..give this place a try!!
The entire place and the staff extremely nice and helpful, the waiters were really good on telling me what is good and giving full advice on the best choices in the menu. Sitting outside was so beautiful watching the marsh and the gorgeous moon during sunset time. I ordered stuffed fish which was whole grilled red snapper fish on top of crab cakes with steamed vegetables, that was delicious and super filling.
We love it here! The food is excellent! It's usually crowded but they handle that very well. Service is on point! We come several times a year and it's never a let down. Highly recommend this place if your in the area. Outdoor seating overlooking the inlet, so nice.
We always look forward to our visit at Sara J's restaurant every time we come into town. The service is always great. The staff are always friendly. The food is always delicious and the priced are good, especially for all of the food that you get!
We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves! I had the shrimp & scallops with cheese grits. The shrimp & scallops were good - tender & sweet, but OMG the grits! They make them like I do - not gritty at all. I'll order the shrimp & grits next time for that very reason. My friend had the ribeye with baked potato and salad. The portions were generous and the steak was flavorful, juicy, and cooked to perfection - medium well, as requested.Sara J's will be added to our list for next years vacation!
